10-Day Tanzania Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Kilimanjaro International Airport – Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by your private transfer driver for a quick meet and greet, then transfer to your first hotel in Arusha for check inn, dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire

After breakfast at your lodge, today you will be met by your private safari driver guide with safari vehicle and drive towards Tarangire national park with packed lunch and morning game drive in the park. After having your packed lunch at the picnic site, you will continue with afternoon game drive until evening when you will proceed to your tented lodge for check in, dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Tarangire – Manyara – Lake Eyasi

After breakfast, continue with your Tanzania Safari by driving to Lake Manyara national park for morning and afternoon game drives with packed lunch. Later in the afternoon, proceed to Lake Eyasi area for check in, dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Lake Eyasi

At around 05:00hrs, go hunting with Hadzabe bushmen. Later, drive back to your camp or lodge for breakfast and morning at leisure until lunch time.

After lunch, you will proceed with village visit to Blacksmiths settlements, commonly known as Datoga tribe cultural tour. Later, drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight. Datoga tribe are indigenous agro-pastoral nomadic group living in Lake Eyasi areas among others, with their famous blacksmiths in the area, which is one among their economic activities.

Later in the evening, you will return to your camp or lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Lake Eyasi – Lake Natron

After breakfast, drive to Lake Natron area, arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon, you will go on lake shore and bird walk, before returning back to your camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Lake Natron

After breakfast, you will go for Ngaresero Waterfalls visit in Natron area. Later, return back to the camp for lunch, then go on the afternoon walk to the hominid footprints in lake Natron, until evening when you will be returning back to your camp for bonfire, dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Lake Natron – Serengeti

After early morning breakfast, another phase of adventure begins for you as you will drive towards the endless plains of the Serengeti with packed lunch, and afternoon game drive in the Serengeti. In the late evening, proceed to your camp for check in, dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Serengeti

After breakfast, today you will go on a morning game drive in the park, followed by lunch at the camp. Later on, proceed with afternoon game drive in the Serengeti until late evening when you will drive back to your camp for dinner and overnight.

Today you will have an option of doing either hot air balloon safari or sundowner cocktail at an additional cost.

After breakfast in your camp, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area with packed lunch. On arrival, you will descend into the Ngorongoro crater floor, which is literally a caldera for full day crater tour with packed lunch. Later in the late evening, proceed to your camp or lodge for check in, dinner and overnight.

Today you have an option of visiting Masai Village (Boma) for cultural experience at an extra cost.

After breakfast, drive back to Arusha arriving in time for hot lunch at Cultural Heritage restaurant. Later, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back home.
